Our Story
Elections Daily is a nonpartisan site dedicated to providing the best in coverage on elections and politics. Our diverse, international group of contributors come from all sides of the political spectrum but share a commitment to providing informed, quality political coverage.
As the first site acquired by Decision Desk HQ News, we are broadening our live coverage of elections with results from Decision Desk HQ, adding and improving our collection of election tools and expanding our coverage and analysis of local and international elections. We also produce video and audio podcasts, live election coverage, and interviews with candidates for office.

Contributors and submissions
We’re always interested in submissions and pitches as well as regular contributors. We consider thoughtful, detailed, coverage of elections, election maps, and politics in general, even in niche areas, but we aren’t interested in clickbait or negative attack pieces.

If you have a completed article, submit it as either a Word or Google Docs file; otherwise, present the pitch through email or DM. Although length is not a dealbreaker, submissions between 800 and 2,000 words are preferred. Please make sure your articles are free of grammatical errors, and adherence to AP Style is encouraged.
