Hutchinson appeared on CNN again to respond to Donald Trump’s controversial New Hampshire Town Hall event, once again condemning much of the rhetoric being espoused by the former president.

The Morning Consult tracker poll pegged Hutchinson at 1% once again.
May 15
Hutchinson went on Fox News to react to the Durham Report, which was published on Tuesday. It found serious failings with in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He called for the scope of the FBI to be limited, but did not go as far as other candidates – some, such as Vivek Ramaswamy, are called for its total abolition. He warned that Donald Trump may take advantage of the report to undermine the US justice system.
May 16
Hutchinson kicked off Tuesday with a tour of the morning shows on CNN, ABC and Newsmax. On ABC’s Good Morning America, he refused to say whether he would support Trump should he become the eventual GOP nominee for president and also flagged the mental health crisis as a key driver behind enduring gun violence. On Newsmax, he once again suggested reform of the FBI, calling for a more streamlined approach focusing on its primary missions and increased accountability.
There was finally some better polling news (sound the horn), with Rasmussen Reports finding him at 3%, although it was immediately followed by an Ipsos poll for Reuters putting him right back down at 0%.
May 17
Began a trip to Iowa in the east of the state with a stop at a Davenport diner followed by a visit to Cedar Falls. This was the first day of a trip on which Hutchinson is planning to hold several events.
This week was mostly spent trying to generate some media attention with several Hutchinson appearances on the major networks (with limited success). Whilst there was one positive poll, this does seem to have been an anomaly.
