Nevada has become more competitive since a 12.5 percentage point win by Democrat Barack Obama in 2008 and only voted for Hillary Clinton by 2.4 percentage points. However, recent shifts in the 2016 and 2018 elections have given Democrats a 3-1 congressional majority and control of almost all statewide offices. Most reputable elections analysis sites rank Nevada as Leans Democratic or Likely Democratic at the presidential level. None of Nevada’s congressional districts are expected to flip. However, its still an important state to look at for a number of reasons.
